Because the site is run from Spain, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to the data we process, wherever you live.

What data we process

This website has no sign-up forms or comments. We only process personal data in these cases:

1. If you email us. We use your email address and what you tell us to reply. Legal basis: your consent when you write to us. We keep the email for as long as we need to answer you, and for one year at most.
2. Technical browsing data. The company that hosts the site (Cloudflare) records technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
3. Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate: pages viewed, country, device type and referring website. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't tell us who you are. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which guides are useful.
4. Advertising. This website shows ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, personalized ads are only shown if you agree in the consent message you see when you arrive (legal basis: your consent). Elsewhere, including the US, you can opt out at any time with the links below. More information in our cookie policy and in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

How to opt out of personalized ads

• Turn off personalized ads from Google in Google's Ads Settings.
• Opt out of personalized ads from other participating companies at aboutads.info or on the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page.

You'll still see ads, but they won't be based on your browsing.

Who receives your data and international transfers

We don't share your data with third parties unless the law requires it. Some technology providers (Cloudflare, Inc. and Google LLC) may process data in the United States. These companies are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of protection.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive it in a portable format, by emailing [email protected]. If you think we haven't handled your request properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Additional information for US residents

We don't sell your personal information for money. Under some US state privacy laws, such as California's, allowing Google to use advertising cookies on this site may count as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out with the links above. To exercise any other right you have under your state's law, such as knowing or deleting the data we hold about you, email us at [email protected]. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 14, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
